More than 70 years of experience in gas cylinder manufacturing
Since 1949, our company has been manufacturing low-pressure welded aluminium gas cylinders for industrial and household applications. Millions of our gas cylinders are used worldwide and are highly valued for their durability and safety.
Main Features of Our Gas Cylinders
Manufactured from aluminium discs using deep drawing technology
Available capacities range from 4.8 litres to 50 litres
Test pressure: Propane-butane cylinders: 30–33 bar Refrigerant gas cylinders: 48–50 bar
Our products comply with EN 12862 and EN 13110 standards, as well as the 2010/35/EU TPED and ADR/RID directives
Our cylinders are certified by TÜV Thüringen Hungary Kft.
Main Advantages of Aluminium Over Steel
Reliable Even in Extreme Climates
Our ALUCYL gas cylinders remain operational at temperatures as low as -50°C, while steel cylinders cannot be safely operated below -20°C.
ALUCYL gas cylinders can also withstand extreme heat exposure up to +160°C.
Long-Term Value
ALUCYL aluminium gas cylinders are designed for an exceptionally long service life, potentially lasting for generations. Their durability allows the price difference between steel and aluminium cylinders to pay for itself many times over.
Some cylinders manufactured by our company more than 50 years ago are still in use today. Under proper operating conditions, we provide up to 50 years warranty for our gas cylinders.
Environmentally Friendly Material
The aluminium used in ALUCYL gas cylinders is 100% and infinitely recyclable. Aluminium is a widely recognized environmentally friendly material that can significantly reduce CO₂ emissions.
Low Maintenance Costs
ALUCYL aluminium gas cylinders require minimal maintenance. They are corrosion-resistant even without painting or additional protective coatings, while also maintaining a more aesthetic appearance than steel cylinders, which are prone to rust even under minor environmental impact.
Highly Resistant
ALUCYL aluminium cylinders provide significantly better resistance in marine and salty environments than steel cylinders. As a result, aluminium cylinders used on boats, near the sea, or in coastal environments can have a service life that is decades longer.
Wide Range of Applications
Thanks to the purity and durability of the aluminium alloy used, ALUCYL gas cylinders are not only ideal for energy-related applications but are also highly suitable for refrigerant gas storage. Aluminium does not chemically react with the stored substance, which helps prevent contamination-related blockages in air-conditioning and industrial refrigeration systems.
Safe
Safety is a critical factor when storing energy gases. Aluminium does not generate sparks under mechanical impact, unlike steel.
Comfort and Efficiency
The empty weight of ALUCYL gas cylinders is significantly lower than that of steel cylinders with the same capacity, making transportation and handling easier and considerably more cost-effective.
Safety and Innovation
The welding seam of ALUCYL cylinders is positioned at the neck, where pressure-related stress is minimal. This design makes our products safer and longer-lasting than traditional steel cylinders welded at the center.
